Terms and Conditions for Little Hoots Academy

Welcome to Little Hoots Academy! By enrolling your child with us, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By enrolling your child at Little Hoots Academy, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not enroll your child in our daycare.

2. Enrollment

- Enrollment at Little Hoots Academy is subject to availability.

- A registration form must be completed and all necessary documents provided, including emergency contact information, health records, and any court orders if applicable.

- A non-refundable registration fee may be required at the time of enrollment.

3. Fees and Payment

- Tuition fees are due [Insert Payment Schedule, e.g., weekly, bi-weekly, monthly] and must be paid by the specified due date to maintain enrollment.

- Late payments may incur a late fee. Continued late payments may result in termination of services.

- Fees are subject to annual review and may be adjusted with prior notice.

4. Attendance

- Regular attendance is encouraged for optimal development and social interaction.

- Parents must notify Little Hoots Academy of any absences, including illness or vacations.

- In the case of frequent absences, we reserve the right to review the child’s enrollment status.

5. Health and Safety

- Parents must provide up-to-date health records, including immunizations as required by state laws.

- Children exhibiting symptoms of contagious illnesses must remain at home until they are symptom-free for 24 hours.

- In the event of an illness or injury, parents will be contacted immediately. It is the parent's responsibility to keep emergency contact information updated.

6. Conduct and Behavior

- Little Hoots Academy promotes a positive learning environment. Inappropriate behavior, including bullying, aggression, or persistent disruptive conduct, may result in a parent-teacher conference and possible termination of enrollment.

- Parents are expected to model appropriate behavior and respect towards staff and other parents.

7. Communication

- Little Hoots Academy will communicate important information via email or through the Bright-wheel app.

- Parents are encouraged to provide feedback and maintain open lines of communication with teachers and staff.

8. Media Release

- By enrolling your child, you consent to the use of photographs and videos taken at Little Hoots Academy for promotional purposes, including social media, website content, and marketing materials. If you do not wish for your child’s image to be used, please submit a written request.

9. Termination

- Parents may terminate this agreement with written notice [insert notice period, e.g., 30 days] prior to the last day of attendance.

- Little Hoots Academy reserves the right to terminate this agreement for violations of these Terms and Conditions, non-payment of fees, or for any reason deemed necessary for the child’s or other children’s wellbeing.

10. Liability Waiver

- Little Hoots Academy, its staff, and affiliated persons are not liable for any injuries or accidents that occur at the daycare, unless due to gross negligence. Parents acknowledge the risks associated with daycare activities and release Little Hoots Academy from liability.

11. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of Florida. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in the appropriate courts of Duval County.

12. Changes to Terms

Little Hoots Academy reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Parents will be notified of any changes via email.
